A 45-minute circular cruise from Richmond Landing Stage travelling upriver to Teddington Lock & back.
Facilities: Fully Licensed Bar, Toilets, Heating | Stops: No Stops (Round Trip from Richmond) |
Our Richmond Circular cruise is a 45-minute circular cruise from Richmond Landing Stage. The cruise takes place on-board the traditional passenger boat Cockney Sparrow, a vessel built on the River Thames at Eel Pie Island (an island we pass on the cruise). Cockney Sparrow has seating in a comfortable saloon & on the spacious outside decks. There is also a fully licensed bar accepting cash & card & toilet facilities on-board. At the bar you can purchase a range of cold beer, cider, wine, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks & snacks. The cruise travels upriver offering excellent view of the Richmond riverfront & Richmond Hill before cruising round Glovers Ait to view Marble Hill House (an 18th century Palladian Villa). The cruise continues upriver passing Ham House & Eel Pie Island (once home to the famous Eel Pie Island Hotel) before reaching Teddington. Once at Teddington Lock (the upper limit of the tidal Thames) the boat will turn & cruise back downriver to Richmond. At just £12.00 for adults, £11.00 for seniors, £6.00 for children or £30.00 for a family of four, this river cruise is a great value addition to your day out in Richmond. |
